We are so excited to announce that Psychedelic Recovery group is reintroducing our in person meeting. After a year-long hibernation due to the current restrictions, we are welcoming you to gather with us in person at the new Portal Community Center in Berkeley!
Due to the recent restrictions in the Bay Area, masks are requested to wear at the facility for this event. Please bring herbal tea to share in our sacred space. Reserve your seat on Meetup, invite your friends! Share this far and wide. We have missed gathering with you all in person!
Meet us at 12 PM on Saturday August 21st at 3051 Adeline St, Berkeley, CA 94703
We are group of peers in recovery that believe that psychedelics and/or plant medicine can help us recover from addiction, alcoholism and dependency to substances or behaviors. We gather regularly together to support one another to effectively understand and integrate these life-changing tools into our lives.
Members of PR have either already experienced the transformative capacity of psychedelics, and are currently using them to heal, or are interested in learning what role they may play in their recovery. In fact, some individuals may turn to psychedelics to aid in mental health, personal growth, personal development and well-being.
Whether you are recovering from addiction and utilizing psychedelics as a tool to heal yourself or struggling with dependency and looking for a unique path to recovery, or know someone who is, this group is for you.
For questions please email: psychedelicrecovery@gmail.com
This is a sober, anonymous meeting and safe space. Please do not come intentionally high. This is not a 12 -step meeting. Many of us are here because traditional recovery methods have not provided adequate recovery.
We will start with a sound meditation, followed by a sharing circle and conscious discussion. This group focuses on intentional use of psychedelics for addiction recovery. We welcome those with experience using these medicines and newcomers alike. Online meetings will continue regularly every Wednesday evening.
Suggested donation $5, no one turned away.
