A glimpse into the pre-recorded episodes:
Episode 1: The Evolutionary/Ancient Roots of Microdosing Psychedelics
“Indigenous cultures have known about and used sub-perceptual doses of different psychedelics for centuries. Until recently, this knowledge has been overlooked. After being involved in research on sub-perceptual doses for over a year, I found myself embarrassed at my own cultural bias as I came to realize I had ignored the obvious, and that indigenous healers or shamans, working with their own psychedelic plants, have systematically and fully explored every dose level.”
-James Fadiman “ Psychedelic Explorer’s Guide
Microdosing has been more deeply ingrained in human history than we previously realized. In this episode we will explore our ancestral roots and how this practice evolved into microdosing for our modern lives today. We will learn the untold history of microdosing and how the past can teach us practical applications to improve our present and future.
Episode 2: A Rediscovery of Psychedelics / Untold History of Psychedelics
It’s time to lift the veil and explore the untold history of psychedelics. There were a lot of seismic events and characters that led to the rediscovery of psychedelics in the early twentieth century. From Richard Evans Schultes days exploring plant medicines and fungi in the Amazon, to the synthesis of LSD-25 by Albert Hoffman, we will discuss the early involvement of the CIA in spreading LSD around the world, as well as the dark side of their experiments with LSD to find a truth serum. We will highlight characters that are rarely discussed in the history of LSD research like Captain Al Hubbard nicknamed the “Johnny Appleseed of LSD”, Sidney Gottlieb, Oscar Janiger, Humphrey Osmond, Aldous Huxley, Owsley Stanley, Ken Kesey and many more.
Episode 3: The Rebirth of Microdosing
The Microdosing Movement is here! In this episode we will explore how ancient practices caught the attention of modern researchers and began to gain traction in the public consciousness leading us to the psychedelic renaissance we are experiencing today. We will dive into the rebirth of modern microdosing, understanding the evolution of this sacred practice. We will unveil the history from the 1940’s with Albert Hoffman discovering sub-perceptual doses as a non-addictive stimulant, to the movement being reborn and ushered back into the world in 2010 with Dr. James Fadiman.
Episode 4: The Science Behind Sub-Hallucinatory Doses of Psychedelics
In this episode, we will go over microdosing basics, from where to start, how to microdose and customizing your protocol. You will learn from leading experts from the creators of the Psilocybin Cup and the first mushroom potency testing company. This is the first-ever public discussion of ground-breaking findings covering which strains are most suitable for microdosing, its stimulant-like effects and differences between caps and stems. We will close out the episode with a discussion diving deep into current events in psychedelic decriminalization, legalization and what the future landscape holds for liberation of entheogens.
Episode 5: Overcoming Challenges, Pitfalls, and Contraindications of Microdosing
We will address overcoming challenges, possible contraindications, and how to address any concerns that might arise during the microdosing experience. We focus on not creating a culture of dependence, but rather a culture of independence. Microdosing psychedelics is not always right for everyone all the time. We are committed to your safety and will present you with a thorough list of potential concerns, and reasons why you might decide microdosing may not be the best choice for certain circumstances.

About the Speakers
James Fadiman is an American psychologist and writer. He is acknowledged for his extensive work in the field of psychedelic research. He co-founded along with Robert Frager the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, which later became Sofia University, where he was a lecturer in psychedelic studies. Fadiman was also part of the team in the psychedelics in problem-solving experiment at the International Foundation for Advanced Study, which was abruptly halted in 1966. He is considered by many to be the Father of modern microdosing, after reintroducing the idea in his book, “The Psychedelic Explorer’s Guide”. He is currently a proponent of microdosing and collects anecdotal reports from those who practice it.
Adam Bramlage is Founder/CEO of Flow State Micro, a functional mushroom company, and microdosing educational platform. Bramlage works one-on-one with clients to optimize their microdosing experience. He’s helped hundreds of people, from professional athletes to people suffering from addiction and depression, achieve results through microdosing. Bramlage works closely with psychedelic researcher, pioneer and father of modern microdosing Dr. James Fadiman. In collaboration with Doubleblind Magazine, Bramlage recently launched his 14 episode online course “How to Microdose.”, which was recently featured in Forbes Magazine as the masterclass of psychedelics.
Danielle Negrin is Executive Director of the San Francisco Psychedelic Society, founder of Psychedelic Recovery, on the founding team of Decriminalize Nature Oakland and on the advisory board for Project New Day. She specializes in building a conscious global community where she provides education into the responsible use and sacred intentional practice of psychedelics. Danielle counsels individuals through addiction recovery, microdosing, psychedelic integration and spiritual transformation. The purpose of her work is to assist individuals and communities transcend out of patterns that are no longer serving them so that they can live empowered lives.
Ian Bollinger is a Co-founder of Hyphae Labs, and spends his time advising for harm reduction in the growing entheogen movement through education and conversation. Working with the decriminalization movement in the SF Bay Area since passing, he has helped establish entheogen churches, non-profits, and supports public benefit corporations to bring scientific insights from the growing entheogen space to the public. He took on a lead role with the Oakland Hyphae team and Science Advisory Committee in providing the analytical backbone for the Psilocybin Cup. Through working with cultivators and consumers, he developed the Hyphae Spectrum based on these conversations; and through its implementation, he has successfully shifted how the conversations around mushroom potency and use are being had.
Reggie Harris has over a decade of political campaign experience ranging from city council races to presidential elections. He is an international consultant and has worked with the largest mushroom cultivators in the world; from the Netherlands, to his recent work advising the establishment of the largest commercial mushroom farm and state of the art testing lab in Jamaica.
Reggie has established Oakland Hyphae which hosted the Psilocybin Cup and The Oakland Psychedelic Conference, which was the most impactful psychedelic event of 2021. He is a co-founder of Hyphae Labs which is leading the industry in psychedelic mushroom potency testing and the founder of Hyphae Nootropics. Reggie is a strong advocate for who he calls, “the little guy” or the “legacy plant medicine workers”. It is his goal to create barriers of entry to prevent big-money-interest groups from the same industry take over they did in cannabis. Ultimately he aims to protect the legacy plant medicine workers from corporate vultures.
