Growing your own solves the problem of access but this process typically generates far more than a product, it produces a relationship with the mushrooms that deepens the meaning and potency of the experiences had with them. This class will focus primarily on the simplest method of mushroom cultivation and teach you everything from the mushroom lifecycle to harvesting and drying your first flush of mushrooms. With few essential ingredients the entire process is likely to cost less than $100. No Specialized Equipment Required. The method itself is built off of unmodified monotub Tek’s and Uncle Ben’s Tek’s. In addition to the method itself, prepare to learn the basic terminology, history, and legality of mushrooms.

Legality: The cultivation of magic mushrooms is federally illegal…….. And, we are privileged to live in a place where we can learn any topic we choose, acting on that knowledge however is a different story. Purchasing a ticket to this course is in no way a danger to you and acting on the information for personal use is loosely protected in the cities of Oakland and Santa Cruz CA,, in Denver, CO, Ann Arbor, MI, Washington D.C. and the entire state of Oregon.
For people living in any of these areas it is still important to still proceed with caution, not to be flamboyant or provocative about the decision to cultivate, possess, or use psilocybin containing fungi. The laws are new and yet to be tested in most places. This topic will be further explored in the class.

Seth WarnerSeth Warner began teaching about fungi in 2016 as a lab facilitator with Bay Area Applied Mycology at Counter Culture Labs in Oakland. He later founded the Mycelial Mass Mushroom Meetup and later helped to reboot the SF Psychedelic Society in 2017 which lead to helping with the Decriminalize Nature Oakland initiative in 2019. Seth initially made the switch from gourmet and medicinal fungal education to psychoactive fungi after countless requests to do so from the community. These asks were often padded with profound stories of personal achievement, growth, and change. In this process his conservative feelings and fears were overwhelmed by an increasing sense of moral obligation and today he finds immense meaning in demystifying Relationships with Sacred Mushrooms.firstname.lastname@example.org
